Today was rainy and cool and a rather pleasant reminder that fall is here and winter is right on her tail. I am ready for these seasons.
This weekend I made a pot roast in the crock pot and stayed up far too late with my husband -- for parents of an infant+toddler -- watching a movie (Friday night) and talking about our future (Saturday night). I like those things: cooking warm meals for my family and hunkering down on the sofa relax and look forward. Summer around this household is always a busy time but fall and winter usher in a relatively quieter season for us, and one that is more about us. So, a cold, rainy Sunday feels just about right for now.
After a considerable hiatus in posting, I am back with a sweet little engagement session that took place on another rainy morning last month!
Brendan and Kimberly will be getting married in a matter of weeks now and I so look forward to their wedding day. They are kind and gracious people who had no problem with our soggy, 8 a.m. photoshoot. Perhaps that's because, as Kimberly pointed out, rain on your engagment shoot pretty much guarantees a sunny wedding day, right?
Right?!
This last one is my favorite because, well... what a couple of cuties.
